What is the Practice of Visioning?
Visioning is a practice of prayer and meditation where we become a vehicle to the highest idea of spirit unfolding in our own life and our collective life. There is a spiritual ideal which is the perfect prototype and is the foundation to everything that IS. This perfect ideal reveals itself through our highest power and intuition as we are able to quiet our minds and listen. In this consciousness we allow the perfection and wholeness of Spirit to manifest into our highest and greatest good unfolding truth, grace and beauty. Through visioning, we become the vehicles through which Spirit manifests.
Below are the questions with all the responses given back from our spiritual community after holding a Visioning Prayer and Meditation together.

What is Spirit's idea for the NVCSL?
-Ever expanding, widening circle, golden band melting -Diversity and expansion -Safe learning place for learning skill sets -Continue creating opportunity for spiritual practice -Letting folks know about center -Love and comradeship; love presence -Full building on Sunday -Remaining open for many years -More local awareness for our special events; use larger venues -Liberation of ourselves -Sanctuary -A safe place -Prosperity -Joy–Heaven on Earth -1)Creation, intention, supportive community -name tags 2)members to invite new guests to snacks (announce this) 3)Community Outreach -Spreading Love -A place where all are welcome & letting people know NVCSL is a place where they can change their lives -Sharing and reaching out to Community -Being a place for all faiths -Spiritual Community -Sanga -To be a leader and participant in the quest for world peace -Looking forward to the Center’s growth, without losing our sense of community -Continue creating opportunities to practice looking at life through God’s perspective -Blessing of the Animals -Creative -To Bring community within & without of the Center based on Spiritual & new found thought to all -To grow bigger -Continued expansion in the community, the world and planning for the expansion -More Youth -Abundance, growth, community -Individual peace and harmony -Grace and love, support groups, community contacts -Have group settings where participants can open their hearts and share with each other / meditation -Light, I see a bright light around the center expanding light, safe at home -Growth -Open -To remain open for all to find -Growth, Expansion, Reaching out to more of community -Let others know about us, Who we are -“Raising the veil” being out there more...what we’re about -Reaching more people
Who must I be for this to unfold?

What must I embrace?

What are the next steps?

-Larger physical space (not enough room), issue with elder member -Perhaps another service added, sanctuary expansion -Handicapped seating and chairs -Escort children out to have more seats -Open windows for air flow during service -Obtaining the involvement of others -Thank you for being here -Subcommittees should be used more extensively -Life is so full -Quiet meditative space is an oasis in the busyness, which should be visited daily -The future of NVCSL is bright! -Global Heart Vision...talk the talk is one thing and walk the walk is what it takes -Reach out to community through free community calendars, magazines, Napa life article interviewing Rev.
